In this episode, you’ll listen to the audio version of the research poster presented at the international workshop on stuttering and cluttering held in Paris on November 4, 2026, by the Reconnect Institute and the Pasteur Institute.
The poster presents quantitative data from a survey conducted as part of the doctoral dissertation of Sue Garrett, an Australian researcher. The online questionnaire was translated into French and Lithuanian to broaden the participant pool. A total of 134 participants from 14 countries responded. Just over half of the participants had received a clinical diagnosis of cluttering, while the others self-identified as people who clutter. To date, this study is the most comprehensive and detailed description of people who clutter.
